“Seven Lively Arts” @ the Humming Bird Centre, promoting the musical Bombay Dreams.

Our first in a series of many ventures with the Hummingbird Centre was a weeklong celebration of South East Asian culture to complement their production of "Bombay Dreams". DiscoverAbility® offered audience members the opportunity to see university and high school students create art on the spot! As part of opening night, we hosted a pre-show extravaganza, including dance, drama and music. Artists drew inspiration from the crowd and performers, creating artwork on the spot - an activity we call "Suddenly Art". Student participants come from a variety of cultures and this makes for a truly multi-cultural celebration as well as learning experience for all those involved. We would like to thank all those who participated within this amazing event, the outcome was astonishing!
